Obviously you’ve not had the same weather as we’ve had in the Yukon; rain every day for the last several weeks (and we are supposed to be the driest capital city in the country). Smoke was bad here in early August though; had to fly out of one place under the smoke - about 175 feet off the ground through the mountains which is too John Denver for me.

We’ve got all the smoke blowing into town from the wild fires in LA. I don’t like it one bit.

Basically my entire state of Cali is on fire. They are just now getting control of a few of the biggies. The smoke drifts into my San Joaquin valley nightly and stays here much to the chagrin of my asthma.

The sunrises and sunsets are awesome..then you realize why they are awesome..all the damn particulate matter in the atmosphere, that is going directly into my lungs.

I am now going batshit crazy because I have been staying inside the freaking house for about a week now.
